英语诗歌-When You Are Old

创作背景：
Yeats 是“爱尔兰文艺复兴运动”的领袖，爱尔兰诗人、剧作家，著名的神秘主义者。
在遇到爱慕对象时诗人23岁，爱慕对象22岁，

When You Are Old

When you are old and grey and full of sleep,
And nodding by the fire, take down this book,
And slowly read, and dream of the soft look
Your eyes had once, and of their shadows deep;

How many loved your moments of glad grace,
And loved your beauty with love false or true,
But one man loved the pilgrim soul in you,
And loved the sorrows of your changing face;

And bending down beside the glowing bars,
Murmur, a little sadly, how Love fled
And paced upon the mountains overhead
And hid his face amid a crowd of stars.

当你老了，头发灰白，睡意沉沉，在炉火边盹睡时，
请拿起这首诗，慢慢的阅读，回想你曾有过的温柔目光和双眸中的晕影；

那些无论真假的爱，爱慕着你欢快优雅的时刻，爱慕着你的美貌容颜，
有一个人，在爱慕着你内心深处那圣洁的灵魂，爱慕着你伴随时光的面容；

当你映着炉火的光辉，弯腰低语，略带忧伤，
爱消逝的那么快，他在高山上漫步，他把脸埋在了群星之中。

我对文学一无所知，英文也不好，就是凭感觉写出自己喜欢的句子。
突然感觉到这个诗人也是个直男，让一个少女去想象自己老去的样子，我能想象的结果就是生气。
这个应该是最无奈的时候的话吧。
用讲道理的方式写诗歌，太直白了，应该在隐晦一些，让人有不同的角度去理解更好些。

点滴

第一段结尾的deep shadows是一种翻转句式，正常的描述是deep shadows
一种说法是眼中的晕影。

I think they are the “shadows” in her eyes (not round them) which he saw when he looked at them / into them
(and which she would see when she looked in the mirror) when she was young.

‘Glad grace’ means pleasant elegance or the quality of being pleasingly elegant or stylish.
